FreeEed is comprised of two essential parts, which are the FreeEed Player and the FreeEed processing engine. By using the Player, the users are able to process information locally on their computer whereas the engine is designed to take advantage of clusters of computers on the cloud, such as the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).
